We are delighted to announce our next show to be performed at Parabola Arts Centre, April 2024!
Rock got no reason, rock got no rhyme… You better get me to school on time!
Based on the hit movie, School of Rock follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There, he turns a class of straight–A pupils into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. But can he get them to the Battle of the Bands without their parents and the school’s headmistress finding out?

Our Cheltenham cast and Bromsgrove cast will all come together for one amazing weekend of performances in Cheltenham, showcasing the wonderful talent of young performers spanning two counties!
Encore Arts directors will be collaborating with singing, dance and music specialists to bring this awesome show to life. Weekly rehearsals launch Autumn 2023.
Casting decisions will be based on early workshops and members who would like to audition for principal roles will have the chance to do so in our second session. There are plenty of parts for everyone and we will ensure everyone has a fabulous part they're proud of!
We will also be training up a young rock band to play our music live for the show! Music tuition will run as a separate course in 2024, but cast members can have the opportunity to take part in both.

Our termly fee is £180 (25% discount for second siblings)
There are 3 terms across the academic year and in return, you will receive:

34 weekly sessions (1.5 hours)

28 hours of extra intensive rehearsals & performances (minimum – please click below for full schedules)

Total = £540 / 79 hours

This works out as less than £7 per hour (£6.84), which we think is outstanding value!
Payment can also be split into monthly instalments and concession rate places are available. Please get in touch for further information.
