arts award

This year, we are delighted to offer CYT members the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification through Arts Award.

Arts Award is accredited through Trinity College London in partnership with Arts Council England and is within the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). We will be launching the Bronze level this year and hope to deliver Silver and Gold (equivalent to an A Level) in future years to come.

To achieve their Bronze Arts Award, learners take on challenges in an art form, participate in arts activities, experience arts events, get inspired by artists and share their arts skills with others. They create a portfolio to keep a record of their creative work and progress along the way, and they are supported by a trained Arts Award adviser  who acts as an assessor, facilitator and mentor.

You can find out more about Arts Award here!
